I got back to Flagstaff 3-11-2010 early in the morning. There was snow on the ground and it was below freezing. It was a bit of a shock to my system, especially as I had buried my gloves wrapped around something in my packing. I had heaps of photos and other things to try to make sense of, so I slowly started in on them.

Soon enough I was able to do some climbing at various locations in the area, the waterfall (which was flowing a lot), The Planetarium down in Sedona, Mars Attacks down by Sedona, the overlook, the pit, Jack's Canyon, and even a trip down to Tam O'Shanter down by Kearny, SE of Phoenix (where the desert was blooming). I also worked on learning to cook roti, one of my favorite foods from Malaysia. I also started to get into shape following Andy's modified 3 hour a week program for near top physical fitness. Considering I hadn't really done any running in over 10 years, this was a bit of a shock to my system.
